Queensland Australia

Time to myself

Often there is only so much that is happening around one’s life, work commitments domestic and other responsibilities. Prioritising and planning ahead I’ve been reading about they say is good but it is not my thing, and so, I find myself in a position where it has dominated my everyday life, so stressing tiring, confusing and and alone and that led to not been one’s self. Recently I have reacted to a conversation with a friend without even thinking it through, and I’ve lost a good friend.

Recent walk up the Bluff

I found myself one afternoon driving pass this Lookout. Some will probably think twice before climbing up that bluff for safety reasons which I might add that I actually didn't, it was well worth my time.

White Flowers

Some of the whites I have on my collections.

I first received my Nikon Camera as a gift from a friend, I was so excited, couldn’t wait to try it out. When it was switched on, I realised I didn’t know anything about using it or taking good photos. This was my first closeup shot “Whiteman’s beard” during the day. Photo #1
Photo #2. Could not remember the name of this particular one. During my first photography trials, the close-up shots were the only ones I was interested in capturing.
This particular image is been shared, so I will not take credit for the shot but I just love it.
These I have grown in my backyard for as long as I can remember.

Winter Photos

Most times the work commitments take up the time so I end up slacking off from socialising on media. Hobbies are forgotten entirely. Neglecting what I love been around things that makes one happy, nature.

Exploring my backyard

It was one of the Central Queensland’s most popular holiday destination island. Few years ago Company from Sydney bought a islands resort, said to have a masterplan approved to turn it into a $6 million development approved with golf course, shops accommodation, casino and marina. That didn’t happen but there is still one other motel at the other end called Hideaway for bookings and holidays. One day trip was enough for me on a 30 mins boat ride.

Freedom Flyer Docked on the beach to off load and pick up the the passengers on GKI. Find out the time table at Roselyn Bay or google it. After we got off the boat my work college her mother plus her boyfriend went to their friends place where he lend us his old trail truck just to go over the other side of the island, my first shot while climbing up the mountain was the coloured mushroom
Learning how to use my Nikon D7100. Further ahead there was a lookout overlooking the main land Emu park and Yeppoon and its no wonder my friends mother said it felt like leaving Australia. We all had a good laughed about that. With Laurels orange hat I asked her if I could take a shot of her.

This part of the island was home of the goats running wild and feral. “Estimated over 600 goat on the island, they also cause enormous problems of erosion with their hooves that does the damages.

Goats we spoked and were running away.
Black Cokato’s on a dead casuarina tree branches alongside the beach.
Curlew Bird spotted walking to the bushes.
I love this shore, a seagull with the waves as a background.
GKI Beach.
Man made pool.

What a beauty!.
