Image was shared by family member as the dam slowly slowed down on flooding.
It’s interesting how nature connects to this land, and when it’s raining it can flood everywhere, “since the land stretches flat for miles”
.
The way everything turns into orange gold…
I just sit in awe, watching it slowly disappear.
And then the other side to explore—
so many wild creatures and plants.
Me with camera bag on my shoulders,
camera in hand pointing at anything I can capture.
“It’s a wide space out there…” and on this tree—the cactus vine.
Life at the farm is never boring, there’s always something to do or something to discover. I’ve also come across wild feral cats— but that’s a story for another post, I’ think.
