Heading out with just a camera and no tripod, the writer expects to photograph flowers and ends up chasing a magpie thief instead. After the stolen garden tie drama, two focused hours of pruning and chainsawing reveal a newly opened backyard, full of potential and future gardening goals.
You don’t need Icelandic waterfalls or African safaris to make meaningful photographs. This post shows how your own backyard can become a rich photo destination, with tips on using familiar light, revisiting ordinary subjects, noticing seasonal changes, and quietly watching the wild visitors who share your space.
Sunday Dawn at Wreck Point, Yeppoon Sunday is my one slow morning of the week, the only day when the alarm doesn’t dictate my first thought. But this Sunday, I set it early on purpose. I wanted to chase first light at Wreck Point in Yeppoon, that quiet pocket of the Capricorn Coast where the […]
My new song ‘Where Morning Finds Me’ is out now! I’d love for you to give it a listen.
Where Morning Finds Me A brand new original song by Daisy Jericho — now available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and DistroKid. 🌅
A quiet, pre-dawn walk down the wooden stairs to Yeppoon Main Beach becomes a gentle invitation into the day. Bathed in soft golden sunrise light, sand, sea, and timber glow as the photographer slows down, breathes deeply, and captures the magic of this peaceful Queensland corner.
A quiet bushwalk turns vivid when a pair of Rainbow Lorikeets appears among red bottlebrush flowers. Their brilliant blues, oranges, and greens transform an ordinary morning into a fleeting wildlife photography moment that captures the magic of patience, timing, and simply being there.

This is very interesting update, I’m especially curious to see how the new ChatGPT plugin could help WordPress users with their websites and creative work
The title is a good name for a song
Though so too— I will think about it and write a song about it if I can and will let you hear it😊.
That would be lovely Daisy 😀
Good morning, you know I have the song created in collaboration with Suno Music Creator and ChatGPT.
The song is actually based on the post I posted the other day. “When The Land Meets The Light”
Every word was mine accept it’s been polished 😊.
So basically it ended up on my playlist mix on YouTube with every other favourite songs of mine.😊.
It’s quite catchy—not bad.
That’s fabulous, congratulations 👏🏼
The AI create all of the music or can you input into it as well?
Ahhh how it works you write your song lyrics— if it needs polishing they can do that or you can just upload your own lyrics on that music creator app and they sing them for you😊.
Most of my songs are lived life reflection and memories. Love stories 😊
That’s ever so good to be able to do that 😀
Love stories are always going to appeal to everybody too
started writing a long time ago 😊.
But this last year I think I’ve written 120 songs or more 😊😊😊.
I never wanted to be seen or loud so I just do this quietly.
Thanks for the comments I appreciate them very much. I will try and see if that can be shared on WP.
That is wonderfully terrific you have so many songs in just one year. Do words float around in your head at times at work?
😊My songs are written from the life I lived — honestly nearly every song is about my younger days , my relationships mostly when I pick A title for example like “
Already Won” and build on it because all these are my life stories and that also reminded that me on that time I was sick and struggling despite all that I was better not 100 percent but already back to work blogging facebooking and most of all my songs.
Little moments is what I write about
My relationships well still is my one inspiration that had me writing, I even wrote a song about work too😊
The song lyrics are like a singing diary with pages from the past turned into music. Brilliant 👏🏼😀
Is the song about work a little bit comical or tongue in cheek?
Haha thank you 😊
You’re spot on — my songs are pretty much pages of life turned into music.
And yes… that one definitely has a bit of cheek in it — real life, just dressed up in rhythm 😄
Good morning. I finally managed to have that lyrics on my post, hope it works
