The Bottlebrush by the Balcony
This bottlebrush once grew so enthusiastically that I eventually had to cut it back to keep it from reaching across my balcony. For a while, I wondered if I’d been too harsh. Then spring arrived, and it burst into bloom again. Sometimes our gardens remind us that pruning isn’t the end of a story—it’s often the beginning of another.
Welcome to the quiet corner of my garden where the roses bloom-not just in petals and perfume, but in memory and meaning. Over the years, I’ve planted many roses, each one telling its own little story. Most of them came from spontaneous finds at BigW, others from patient tending and lucky second chances.
I must admit, I find joy in little moments watching the rose bush starting to have buds like the one used. It is beautiful and so I keep collecting or planting. Each rose bush has a story to tell and show of the beautiful of all the flowers. There was one particular bush that kept growing but never had any flower for some reason, just once it had one single flower and as it turned out it was one of my favourite red rose of all.

On the left is one single rose bush flower, the one that has that single bloom. down below is also my favourite shot.
After The Rain Shot
Sometimes after watering the garden or after the rain, I find the rainstorm the roses are perfect time to do so— and the outcome is not bad at all.
