Cities are never still. Between glass towers and old stone, traffic lights and reflections, I find fleeting stories in every corner. These glimpses capture the rhythm of movement — fast, layered, and alive.
On one of the trips from Yeppoon to Brisbane, a night’s stay, and proceeded to the Gold Coast. It was precisely during the New Year’s Eve fireworks. This time, I had a lot of opportunities to revisit my old stomping ground.

Reflecting back on those days
Living in Brisbane City for the first time was new to me, and at that time, I didn’t have a camera, like the devices we now have. Ignorant, scared and curious, I explored the city by walking along the floating walk footpath, catching the bus or the City Cat from New Farm to the City, mostly Queen Street.
Mobile Phones Era
Through windows, alleys, and quiet corners-these are fleeting frames of the cities I’ve wondered, lived in, and loved. Urban Photos, Stories, and Quiet Street Scenes.
Strolling along outside the group of hotels in the city with my phone and my husband by my side was memorable and the best time, despite the fact that we lived there for four years, at least. Within those four boring years for me, I could have bought a camera and taken as many pictures as I could. I regretted that very much after learning the art of taking images.

After moving away from Brisbane city, Mobile phones were becoming more popular, and this was captured on my first Samsung phone. Not sure why I did, but the architecture was impressive.
