Sick Plants, Strong Colours

I almost walked past them — three little plants on the clearance trolley at Bunnings. Dehydrated, fading, written off as “too far gone.

The lady at the counter even said, “Good luck with them,” like I was wasting my Few bucks😊.

But I couldn’t stop looking at their colours. Even sick, they carried something beautiful. Something worth saving.

So I brought them home, watered them, and gave them a chance. Not because I knew they’d survive, but because hope deserves the same space as doubt.

Maybe that’s what I’m learning most in my garden:

strength isn’t always obvious, but colour is always worth noticing. 🌸

  1. Well done 👏🏼 The “dead plants society” in Bunnings often yield results. I have had the same “good luck with that” look

    1. Thank you, Bunnings is the favourite shop, that’s wonderful glad I am not the only one going for them.
