A Quiet Day in the Garden 🌹

For the first time in a long time, I slept in.

I watched a real movie instead of YouTube.

No computer. No website. Just a quiet day.

Later, I wandered into the garden and decided to add a little more support for my climbing roses. That’s when I noticed something I hadn’t expected.

New canes.

While I wasn’t paying attention, they had quietly kept growing.

Sometimes that’s how life is too. We think nothing is happening, but all along, there is slow, steady growth taking place where we can’t always see it.

Today reminded me that not every day has to be productive. Sometimes it’s enough to rest… and discover that life has been growing while you were simply living.
