The problem about songwriting is…you accidentally expose your selfwhile trying to sound cool and… “while I was also suppose to be healing peacefully.instead I created a sound track for emotional trespassing”
Soft light, quiet petals & a little drops of calm. DJFP
I was getting ready for dinner with friends on Saturday and as I came out of my room, looked out and saw this only for a brief moment and it was gone. Some colours arrive quietly after the storm.
Somewhere outside of Nimbim—no plan, just a quick stop…and this was waiting. New South Wales somewhere outside of Nimbim, stop and had my camera out just for this shot
Not just the stories we were told, but the lives that were lived — with courage, sacrifice, and quiet strength. Lest we forget. 🇦🇺✨ — DJFotoPerfec
Wildlife Moments They didn’t move much. Just sat there — side by side, as if the world had already said enough. Two quiet souls, resting where the water slows No rush, no noise, just presence. — DJFotoPerfect
I paused… and realised — this is what creating actually looks like.” — DJFotoPerfect
I was busy working, not really looking for anything — but when I stepped outside, it was already there. The crows were already there, lined up like they knew something I didn’t… and the sky followed right behind DJFP
Well done, Di 🙂 It reminded me a little of something that happened 20 years ago. My favourite band were called Curve and in the early 2000s, I used to buy a lot of their material directly from them. When I’d buy three 12″ records, arriving in the parcel would be six or seven, with a note saying they added extra in because I was Scottish and they missed playing live in Scotland. This then happened a few times, so I wasn’t complaining!
I then got an email from them one day, saying they were releasing a ‘Best of’ album and would it be okay if they added my name to the albums credits, as a thank you for my loyalty down the years. Damn right it is!
A few months later, the CD arrives and inside the sleeve, my name is there. Still a proud moment.
Enjoy the feeling 🙂
G.Mac.
Thank you so much for sharing this story.
What a beautiful moment that must have been for you — having your name inside the album sleeve.
I’m honoured my little milestone reminded you of something so personal and special.
Truly appreciate your kind words.
