What is blogging like for me, finding my way around, customising?

I Never Thought I Would…

If you told me once that I’d be here — creating pages, shaping visuals, and calling them mine — I probably would have laughed. I never thought I’d do anything like this. But here I am, showing up, learning as I go, and finding pieces of myself in every word and image. It feels like more than a blog; it feels like proof that we can grow into places we never imagined.” When I first started customizing, it felt intimidating — like I was about to break something every time I clicked a button. Over time, with FotoPerfect (my Chronicles theme), I pushed through the trial and error. I pressed every button, changed every colour, broke menus, fixed them again… until finally, I started to know the inside and out of my theme. But then came QS — a whole new space, and suddenly I’m a beginner all over again. I’m still learning how to make it look like me. Still fumbling through the menus, still surprised at what works and what doesn’t. That’s the thing about blogging: you’re never really done learning. Each theme, each change, is another chance to discover more.

Looking back, I realise it was never about perfection — it was about showing up. I never thought I would find myself here, building something piece by piece, but I did. And now this space feels like more than a blog; it feels like proof that we can all grow into places we once thought were impossible.”
